Happy Sole Workshop with Angela “AJ” Cooper
Are you tired of living with achy knees, tight hips, stiff ankles, and/or sore feet?
This 3-hour workshop may be for you to start you on your journey to restore natural foot function. No quick fixes here. You will be empowered with the education, skills and strategies that you need to overcome persistent pain, break the cycle of recurrent injuries and confidently return to the activities you love.
3-part strategy starting with isolation phase exploring your foot function through stretches and movements, secondly the integration phase working on balance and targeted exercises using simple tools, and lastly the invigorate foot function through playful movements.
Angela “AJ” Cooper began teaching yoga in 2011 and has since expanded her work into a wide range of movement and wellness disciplines. After moving to Yakima in 2012, she completed her 200‑hour Yoga Teacher Training and continued to deepen her education with certifications in Somatic Healing, Trauma‑Informed Yoga, and Tai Chi.
In recent years, AJ’s focus has shifted toward a foot‑first, natural‑movement approach. She now blends her experience as a:
• Tai Chi Basic Instructor
• Barefoot Movement Coach
• TFC (The Foot Collective) Foot Pro
AJ’s philosophy centers on building a strong foundation, moving with intention, and empowering people to understand their bodies. Her goal is to help individuals overcome persistent pain, break cycles of recurring injuries, and return confidently to the activities they love.
